Pinnington PR and MEDIA courses are a mixture of
theory, guidance and practical exercises with feedback. Numbers are small
to ensure that each person receives as much personal attention as possible.
We aim to give you the skills and confidence needed to succeed in dealing
with the media.
- All the Media courses include the following:
- Having a professional strategy.
- How the media operates.
- Using the media pro-actively.
- Dealing with a bad news story.
- Preparing for interviews.
- How to succeed in interviews.
- Practical interviews recorded and reviewed.
We run three basic Media courses:
1. Half Day for 4 people.
2. One Day for up to 6.
3. Two Day for a maximum of 6.
The half day course is highly intensive. It’s particularly relevant
for those with limited time.
The one day course allows time to approach the subject in more depth and
for more interviews.
While many clients are happy to concentrate on Press and Radio, we can
provide professional crew and equipment if Television interviews are needed.
In the two day course the first day is given over to Newspapers and Radio.
The second day deals with Television. It also allows for a wider range
of practical work to mirror the specific needs of an organisation.
In addition to the basic courses we offer two specialist training events;
1. One to one. Half day or One day.
We are often asked to provide training for a top person
or key member of staff who faces a particular Media challenge.
2. Crisis Management. Half day or One day.
Preparing for the worst. A course to help organisations
to deal with a
major crisis.
